Huia Card - Helen Taylor

Helen Taylor is an artist, writer and award wining children’s book illustrator.Her work is inspired by poetry, song and the ‘collector’ of the exotic and beautiful.

The Ornithologist and the Lepidopterist hunger for that which is unique. They strive to capture Beauty and preserve it in museum drawers and Bell Jars. Life and Death is on display for all eternity.

Helen has work in private collections throughout New Zealand and overseas.

She lives in the port-side town of Lyttelton.
